Inspired by plants at the Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver, British Columbia, natural science and botanical illustrator Vicky Earle put brush to paper and created 18 original watercolor paintings for this stunning book. About the Author
Vicky Earle, an internationally awarded scientific, botanical and medical illustrator, is passionate about natural history - in particular the ecology and biodiversity of tropical rainforests. She delights in connecting people to nature both through her art and through teaching workshops. Her preferred medium is watercolor, but she also works with metalpoint (drawing with silver, copper and 24kt gold) and mixed media. Ms. Earle is a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, the American Society of Botanical Artists and a Signature member of Artists for Conservation.
