HOW DO I TURN ON MY OVEN?
by Beverley Kornelsen

About the Book
This is a true, very personal and very detailed look at dementia through the eyes of a daughter who reluctantly finds herself thrown into the primary caregiving role. Her mother's dementia progresses rapidly and is accompanied by the frequent visitors only she can see.

It's a difficult, two-year journey told with love and gentle humour. It takes place in Steinbach and Winnipeg, Manitoba, but will resonate with anyone who has done eldercare, and inform others unfamiliar with the journey.

The book is available in Winnipeg and on-line at McNally Robinson, in-store at Chapters St. Vital, and in Steinbach at Die Mennonitische Post and the Mennonite Heritage Village. The e-book and paperback are available at Amazon. (Some links below)
